Could someone give me some advice about getting involved with an MLM

Stay away from MLM, it is illegal in most countries

1. Research the company well before u get involved. Be prepared to hear ‘mixed emotions’ – the person getting u involved will tell success stories & will sell u a dream for ur potential success & be warned there will definitely be horror stories on the internet & through friends of friends about any MLM u consider becoming involved in.

2. Try to find a MLM that is transparent. If they r happy to tell u everything than they can’t be hiding too much.

3. Make sure u know & like the product/s involved. It will be extremely difficult to try to get other people involved if u don’t trust, like or believe in the products involved.

4. Study the set up of the MLM that u r considering joining – look at how it is structured & where new members will be placed in relation to you. i.e. if they can be placed next to u or above you. Preferably u would like new member to have to go somewhere below u to help with ur volume. It also means that u can work closely with ur up line to help build ur business.

5. Try to get ur hands on a compensation plan to look at the correlation between hours worked in the MLM & the money earned. This will give u a good idea of how many people r successful & how seriously involved in the business they are.

6. Be aware that majority of people do not make money in a MLM - there r a number of reasons for this for example a) they don’t treat it like a serious business opportunity b) they expect it to be a get rich quick scheme.

7. Treat the MLM u get involved in like a business. Set aside time to work on growing ur business, learning about the product & the company & teaching other people about it.

8. Make sure u have a solid up line to help u with ur business, u need to have someone that knows what they r doing so u can ask questions & get help when u begin.

9. Don’t get discouraged when u instant success doesn’t come ur way. There will be hard work involved!

10. Try to find a company that is relatively new but also established so that u can be placed higher up.

Do MLM businesses really work or, they r all scams?
This question is asked more & more all over the Internet & the r usually something like this: “Yes, & u can find out more at my website Make MoneyFromHomeWhileEatingHamburgers.com” or “Most of MLM businesses r scams, but not mine: “HugeProfitsWithoutDoingAnythingAtAll.com” & it’s obvious where this kind of r coming from.

Somehow we’ve arrived to a situation when general public believes that there r two different types of business: “real business“, where u have to invest money, time, effort & where u have to actually work hard in order to achieve any kind of success & MLM, where u don’t have to work at all & where u can make at least one million dollars in a very short time without any effort whatsoever. The only problem is that there r “scams” out there & u need to make sure u don’t get into one of them.

Here is a thing: any MLM business is still a BUSINESS. Like any other business it must have a product, it must have a customer & there has to be a way to sell that product to a customer. MLM uses different destribution & compensation systems, but other than that it is just another business.
We r all aware about “scams,” we r aware about “lemons,” we r aware about the pot holes under the water - we still drive through them, just slower.


Main thing is - it’s not the business that makes money, it’s the business owner.
The failure rate in MLM is probably the same with any other business, but that’s just a natural selection. It just means that u do have to work at it & to be good at what u do.

You make it profitable & u make it a disaster!

l had been fighting against MLM for about fifteen years. l was laughing at it & making fun of everybody involved in it, but then l started noticing how much money these people r making & it kind of made me interested in researching the subject. And eventually l fund a video with Robert Kiyosaki talking about it & turned out it ‘s a legitimate business scenario. In his book Before You Quit Your Job he actually mentions that if he had to start over he would start from joining an MLM company.

You will receive a number of responses like ”It’s a scam!” or “They don’t work!” Just for fun, ask those people if they can provide u with any kind of supportive data. l seriously doubt they will answer.

Robert Kiyosaki is an incredible individual. l had the pleasure of meeting him & Donald Trump on a few different occasions. You can learn a lot from the books that Mr. Kiyosaki writes, One was already mentioned as well as rich dad poor dad. MLM companies work the same way as a traditional company. People r going to say the word ''pyramid''. If u think about it, the American business model is build the same way! Welcome to Corporate America! Get a peice of paper out. Take any corporation to use as an example. On the top of ur paper, draw a circle. This circle represents the Owner or partnership owners, Then write two circles under that (President/ CEO) & the Vice President. Write a few more circles under that & u have corporate management positions. A few circles under that & u have store managers, a few circles under that & u have store department managers, a few circles under that & u have sales reps. People do not realize that but unless it is a one man show no hired help, no independent representatives, everyone works in a pyramid! MLM is no different then the traditional business model.
Look for an MLM where u make money from not recruiting & make money with recruiting. Look for an MLM that has a product & service that is in high demand. Again, something in which u build a real residual income, regardless if someone in a downline sales or even if u do not put together a downline quick. Look for a business in which, u can earn an income, alone & have the opportunity to earn an income building a downline. Find something that if u do not build a down line right away, u can still make a good income from. There r a lot of business opportunities that have this. Like l said, every business structure is designed in the MLM fashion. So in short, where u work right now, ur already involved in an MLM, just do not know it.
