l know you have to take a test to own a small business but l do not know where.. Either at a place or on the internet. Can anybody with or without experience help me???

Depending on the type of business you start you may need different licenses. l own a few small businesses and have never heard of a test unless it is a service industry type business. Go down to your local permits department and apply for your business license. Remember if you are reselling items you will need a sales tax id as well.

You do not need to take a test. All you need is a tax id # and possible other permits depending on your service or what you are selling.
