- Before this crash l was telling people that some banks were going to fail;people said l was crazy -- then banks failed (some really big banks too!)

- Then l said that a good solution would be for the government to begin loaning money to private companies and individuals; people called me a communist -- well, now the government is planning to loan money to larger corporations.

- So now my question is this:If a common person wants to borrow money to buy a car, but the local banks have their lines of credit frozen in this financial crisis,how soon will it be before l can go to the nearby federal bank branch (in a local post office perhaps), and borrow the money needed to buy that car?
(borrow from the government, instead of the frozen banks).

Probably sooner than you think.
