l own a single member LLC and have an existing cash business. l am also starting a company which will be under my current LLC EIN but will be using a DBA.l wanna open a bank account in the name of the DBA using the Parent is EIN.How can l do this?What information do l need to gather to open the business checking?
btw, my DBA is NOT mentioned in my operating agreement...does it need to be?

You will need your LLC papers, your DBA papers and your EIN.

Most banks accept those things as documentation.

The bank only needs to see your business registration forms to verify that

(a) this is a business; and
(b) that the business officially uses this name

Bring your Certificate of LLC Registration (or whatever the document your state gives you when you apply for a LLC) to the bank. That is all they need
