How would you go about setting up a distributor, retailer relationship with big name sneaker companies

Go to their largest annual exhibit conference when those companies will have huge booths setup. Go a day early & start prep work. Bring business cards. Most people in those booths r marketing or promo people & not who u want to talk to but big wigs usually show up for at least a couple hours on one day. Keep going by the booths to get the names of who u should talk with, track them down & set meetings onsite to get acquainted ONLY. Then get their info & arrange follow ups after the conference when things quiet down a bit. Follow up with an email & be tenacious.
